The Story of the Invention of the Incandescent Light Bulb

In the story, we learn that Thomas Edison made many experiments to produce the incandescent light bulb and failed over 999 times, but due to sheer grit Edison continued with this task.

It was not until the 1,000 attempt that he got the experiment that yielded the light bulb, for which he had toiled night and day right, and as they say the rest is history.

The road to the top may be lonely and the way tortuous, but if you stay on the track and don’t quit, you will be celebrated.

Face Your Task

Don’t quit! Face anything you are working on wholeheartedly, keep hope alive, and rejoice in the little achievements you get until the big one comes.

Never waver! Never shake! Stay resolute and you will get that goal you are toiling for, if you don’t give up.

Persistence at anything you put your mind into will always defeat opposition. Just learn to stay put at the task on hand and sooner than you know it, you will win.

Of course to stay on a task long enough, demands that you think positively about it. Thinking positively, means that you believe you can handle whatever you are going through, and come out victorious.

Believe in yourself, because you will not amount to much or attempt to do big tasks, or even succeed at a small task, if you don’t believe you can do it.

See with Your Mind

Don’t quit because what you believe, has a way of coming to pass.

What you believe is what you see in your mind’s eye. So restrain yourself, from thinking of the bad side of things instead deliberately focus on the good side.

You should control your mind and force it to focus on uplifting thoughts, thoughts of victory, promotion, winning, succeeding and happy thoughts all day.

Sooner than later, you will attract that good thing you think about and desire so much.

Please realize that you must see success first inside your mind, before it becomes a reality.

There is a saying that the proof of desire is action towards what you want with persistence, motivation and a little hard work.

The world belongs to possibility thinkers not quitters.

Go the extra mile to pursue and achieve what you dream of, because what you want can happen, if you believe it and take action, with great determination.

Kill Doubts and Believe You Can Win

Don’t quit and never doubt that you can achieve great success.

Brian Tracy the renowned Sales coach and Best Selling Author of several books says, “whatever you want wants you” so encourage yourself no matter what you face.

If other people from similar or worse backgrounds and living in poor countries are making great strides in technology, business, athletics, and fashion design, etc, what excuse do you have.

Do I hear you say none? Yes! You are right, there is none.

No one is planning to stop you except the man in the mirror. Tell him or her you are the master of your destiny, and have decided to go for that goal. Next, refuse to give up until you win.
